On March 18-21, the Scandinavian Salsa Congress will be arranged in Gothenburg, and it will be a whole lot of fun! A group of us are planning to go, and it’s still time for you to sign up and come with us!

The full pass currently costs 2000 SEK, that will include all parties, workshops and shows during the weekend. Otherwise, you can also get a party pass for 800 SEK, giving you entry the parties on friday, saturday and sunday, or even entrance to one single party for 300 SEK.

This Saturday, Feb 27, there will be a big dance-day arranged by our friends in Ljungsbro, in collaboration with lots of dance associations in Linköping. 10 different intro classes for 100 kr between 10-20, and then party between 21-01 for 120 kr. More detailed info (in Swedish) below:

The practice is arranged as study circle (Studie Främjandet) which in this case means that is is free of charge and that you have show up at least one of the three first times. Årets årsmöte är precis avslutat, och vi har en ny styrelse:

Vi hade också många bra och livliga diskussioner om hur 2010 ska läggas upp. Några av huvud-dragen är att vi kommer att satsa på att få två riktigt livaktiga kommittéer - för Norrköping och för PR - som bägge ska bli självständiga (inkl själv-rekryterande vid behov) och få igång bra verksamheter utanför styrelsen, som ska få en mera tydligt separerad och beslutande funktion. Festerna kommer drivas mera som projekt, med olika projekt-generaler för varje fest (som redan är utsedda för vårens fester) och bygga vidare på den infra-struktur vi byggde upp redan förra året.
