The salsa spring semester is starting to converge into a very exciting schedule, so even though there still are a few uncertainties left, here is a preliminary salsa-calender.

Jan 30: 22.30-01.30 Dans och tapas-kväll på La Uva Tapasbar i Norrköping (arranged by Salsahuset)

Jan 31: 15-17, Annual meeting/årsmöte, Stolplyckan, Föreningsg 37 1tr, Linköping

Feb 7: 10-16, Try out numerous dances at Ågatan’s gymnastiksal (next to Domkyrkan). All courses are free! (see www.dansarna.se)

Feb 13-14: Valentine bachata festival i Stockholm, salsahuset i Norrköping anordnar gemensam resa (sista anmälan 31:e jan, 900 kr, krisorovetmik@gmail.com; http://www.mdans.net/valentine_program.htm)

Feb 27: Big dance day, including courses in the day (in numerous dances), and a big party with lots of dances and dance-shops etc in the evening. Ljungsbro folkets park

March 18-21: Scandinavian salsa congress, in Gothenburg. Lots of us are going, so please join us! (http://www.salsacongressscandinavia.com/)

March 27: Mix-dance party: we repeat the success concept of the autumn, by having a big party at Ljunkan, with a really nice athmosphere, multiple dance floors, etc

April: We will arrange a big event in Norrköping in April, with a live-band, buses going from Linköping, etc. Don’t miss!!

May 15: Linköping salsa festival, with external teachers, Linköping-teachers, the live-band RicoSuave, multiple dance floors, etc etc

May 28-31: ÖSF goes to London! (see separate mail)

More detailed information to follow (see especially the home page/calender at www.ostgotasalsa.se). Apart from this, there is Monday salsa at L’Orient and Thursday practica at Elsa’s hus, as usual every week, and we will also try to have some additional smaller parties, at Harrys etc.
